Natural Diamonds ethically sourced

The beauty of each piece is intertwined with a commitment to ethical sourcing.

Sustainability echoes through every facet, with only the finest natural diamonds of D, E, and F colours adorning our creations.

Carat

Carat, the first of the 4Cs, is the unit of weight by which a diamond is measured. It is the outward manifestation of a diamond's size, with one carat equivalent to 200 milligrams.A balance between size and quality ensures that the carat weight harmonises seamlessly with the other three Cs for a truly remarkable diamond.

Cut

The cut of a diamond, often considered the most crucial of the 4Cs, is the artisan's meticulous sculpting of the stone's facets to optimise its brilliance, fire, and scintillation. A well-cut diamond reflects light in a way that captures and enhances its innate beauty. Whether a round brilliant, princess, or any other cut, the precision of the cut influences the diamond's ability to radiate with unmatched sparkle and allure.

Colour

Colour in diamonds is graded on a scale from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow or brown). At K’dor we only work with D, E and F coloured diamonds. The most sought-after diamonds exhibit a pure, colourless quality, enhancing their ability to refract and reflect light brilliantly.

Clarity

Clarity delves into the internal and external imperfections of a diamond, known as inclusions and blemishes. Graded on a scale from Flawless (no imperfections visible under 10x magnification) to Included (imperfections visible to the naked eye), clarity plays a pivotal role in a diamond's overall beauty and value. A diamond with fewer inclusions allows for more light to pass through, contributing to its brilliance and allure. The art lies in striking a harmonious balance between clarity and other essential factors for a truly exceptional diamond.
